Welcome to the 1st Annual Get Out and Play Golf Tournament & Fundraiser hosted by Humanex Foundation on Sunday, September 26, 2021. Join us at the spectacular 18-hole Raccoon Creek Golf Course in Littleton, CO. First tee time is at 10:46 a.m. with staggered start times for foursome teams throughout the day. The Foundation is raising funds on behalf of Humanex Academy.
Humanex Academy: A unique school where you can Imagine the Amazing!
Humanex Academy is a private, accredited, independent school that educates neurodiverse 6-12 grade students. Humanex Academy does not receive funding from local or state government sources. To offset educational expenses, they charge tuition and fees to each attending student. Through discounts, payment options, and the Alex C. Teves Memorial Scholarship Fund, the Academy strives to make the Humanex community accessible to neurodiverse students. Still there are additional costs involved in providing an outstanding educational experience and meeting the needs of each unique classroom.
Bridging the Gap: Creating the Humanex Connection
To support the amazing, we created Humanex Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to fundraise on behalf of Humanex Academy in their journey to Imagine the Amazing! Our tax exempt number is: 82-4343791
New Partnership: Desks from T.A.C.T.
Humanex Foundation is raising funds for new classroom desks made by T.A.C.T., a nonprofit organization that teaches the Autism community trades. Humanex Academy proudly supports T.A.C.T. mission to encourage and empower the full spectrum of individuals with Autism through education and employment in the skilled trades. Many Humanex Academy students participate in the T.A.C.T internship programs and these desks will be built by students and alumni.
The Humanex Mulligan: Our Fundraising Goal of $15,000
Humanex Academy desperately needs to “re-do” each classroom by outfitting them with new desks. Each desk will cost around $170.00 for a total need of 60 new desks. We also need to transform our outdated library into the new Academic and Transition Room with new tables for students, staff, and educators to use. We expect each of the four to six new table to cost about $1,000.00 a piece.
